Today, March 13th 2011 we released M&M into the most beautiful herd, on the biggest farm near to us. He has been saved from the slaughterhouse after only 2 years in the racing industry.
We had teeth filed and removed the sharp angles in there. Then his feet redone by an artist of a ferier Steve Purvis, and the top lameness expert, Dr. "Tookie" Meyers. Then instead of a crop we used machines to find a painful knee and surgery to repair it immediatly. Several painful issues addressed, and then came the long year of recovery. He is ridden lightly and has a beautiful dressage spring in his step. He still has kissing spines but his body is ready to continue growing on fresh grass now. No more areas of weakness to hold him back. He went out free and delighted to find no fences each way he turned! Somehow we found God's path for M&M. Today I watched it all come to together and bloom
